At AMKCO Europe, Forbo Flooring Systems has carried out tests on the reduction of noise and vibration. AMKCO vibratory separator is used for sifting the raw materials for the production of Forbo flooring systems. The machine is placed on a floor where additional vibrations and additional noise may be produced. To counteract this, an independent suspending foundation has been designed to serve as a counterweight so that no vibrations are transmitted to the building and noise is significantly reduced.
AMKCO is also very interested in the results of the measurement. It may lead to advice that we can also help other customers with in the future.
